Frieze London and Frieze Masters return to The Regent’s Park from 14–18 October 2026, bringing almost 300 galleries from 48 countries and regions to London. The main fairs are ticketed, but visitors can also see Frieze Sculpture completely free in the park’s English Gardens. Wednesday 14 October is an invitation-only preview. General public access begins on Thursday afternoon, with the busiest public days expected from Friday through Sunday. Frieze Sculpture is already open and continues until 1 November, so no fair ticket is required to see the outdoor works.
For anyone travelling into London for the weekend, the nearest Tube station for Frieze London is Regent’s Park, while Baker Street and Great Portland Street are also close. Frieze Masters sits further north in the park, with Camden Town and Mornington Crescent among the nearest Underground options.

Is Frieze Sculpture free?
Yes. Frieze Sculpture is free and open to everyone. No Frieze London or Frieze Masters ticket is needed to walk through the outdoor exhibition in The Regent’s Park. The 2026 edition runs from 16 September until 1 November in the English Gardens at the south end of The Broadwalk. Frieze says the exhibition includes works by 11 international artists and is curated for the fourth year by Fatoş Üstek.
Artists in the 2026 exhibition include Angel Otero, Conrad Shawcross, Tarini Sethi and Ivana Bašić. The works are distributed through the English Gardens rather than contained inside the ticketed fair structures. Frieze's Sculpture guide provides details of the individual works and artists. A digital guide is also available through Bloomberg Connects. For visitors who want a Frieze experience without buying a fair ticket, the sculpture exhibition is therefore the simplest option. It can also be combined with other free London activities in LCM's Free Things to Do in London on 17–18 October guide.
Frieze London and Frieze Masters are different fairs
The two ticketed fairs sit within walking distance of one another but have different focuses.
Frieze London concentrates primarily on contemporary art and work created after 2000. Its 2026 programme includes the new curated section The Code Universe alongside Artist-to-Artist and the main gallery presentations.
Frieze Masters looks further back through art history, including ancient material, Old Masters and 20th-century art. Its 2026 programme includes Spotlight, Reflections and Queering Modernism.
Across the two fairs, Frieze says almost 300 galleries from 48 countries and regions are participating.

Weekend Tube and rail closures to watch
Visitors travelling on Saturday 17 or Sunday 18 October should also account for planned transport disruption elsewhere in London. The Piccadilly line will not run between Hammersmith and Heathrow or Uxbridge during the weekend, which is particularly relevant to international visitors arriving through Heathrow. London Victoria also loses all Southern and Gatwick Express services on Sunday 18 October. Visitors arriving through Gatwick should check LCM's Victoria and Gatwick Express closure guide. The full picture is covered in LCM's London Tube and Train Closures guide for 17–18 October.
Can you bring a bag into Frieze?
Large items measuring more than 40 x 20 x 40cm, including suitcases, folding bicycles and scooters, are not permitted inside the fairs. Backpacks can be brought in but must be carried by hand rather than worn. Frieze provides bag and coat facilities, but capacity is limited. Visitors travelling directly from an airport or hotel should therefore avoid arriving with large luggage.
Accessibility at Frieze London and Frieze Masters
Both fairs are accessible to visitors with reduced mobility. Entrance and exit ramps are provided, accessible toilets are available and a limited number of wheelchairs can be borrowed on a first-come, first-served basis. Frieze also provides free companion or carer tickets once the main visitor ticket has been booked. Hearing loops are installed at ticket, cloakroom and VIP enquiry desks.
