Elizabeth line passengers are facing major disruption during Thursday morning's London rush hour, with delays and cancellations affecting services through Paddington.
At Abbey Wood shortly before 7am on 10 September, a departure board photographed by London Construction Magazine showed three consecutive Paddington services running 26, 31 and 56 minutes late. Later services towards Heathrow, Reading and Maidenhead were shown as on time at the point the photograph was taken.

Paddington incident disrupts morning services
The disruption comes after a casualty on the railway in the Paddington area affected train movements during the morning peak, with passengers warned that services could be cancelled, delayed or revised.
The incident has affected the Elizabeth line as well as other rail services using the Paddington corridor, creating knock-on disruption for passengers travelling across London and towards Heathrow Airport and the Thames Valley.
The railway west of Paddington was already operating under constraints following damage to infrastructure in recent days. Great Western Railway said services between London Paddington and Reading continued to be affected by damage to the power supply following a lineside fire last weekend, with repairs ongoing.
Passengers crowd onto available Elizabeth line services
Available Elizabeth line trains were heavily occupied during the early morning commute, with passengers at Abbey Wood facing substantially delayed departures towards central London.
The photograph taken by London Construction Magazine at Abbey Wood provides a snapshot of the disruption: the 06:54 Paddington service was displayed 26 minutes late, the 07:24 service 31 minutes late and the 07:29 departure 56 minutes late.
The same board showed later departures towards Paddington, Heathrow Terminal 4, Reading and Maidenhead as on time, illustrating the uneven impact of the disruption as operators attempted to recover the timetable.
Latest disruption follows difficult week at Paddington
Thursday's problems follow several days of disruption affecting the western section of the Elizabeth line and rail services from Paddington.
Passengers have faced reduced services while repairs are carried out to railway infrastructure, adding further pressure to one of London's busiest east-west transport corridors.
